Reflections on the Goddess asleep

            Beautiful

-         Though You may never see this, still I must write it, Peace, beauty, love, you embody these things, your graceful body lying serenely on my bed. The curve of your hips, the slight pout on your lips, these things captivate me. Every part of me, body and soul, cries out for you; Truly I am a man blessed, to be allowed to be this close to your radiant light. Even asleep, you shine, commanding my attention, yet still being dark and seductive. But above all right now is that look of serene enlightenment on your face. I would endure a thousand deaths rather than disturb that angelic peace. Beautiful, timeless, perfect. The words fail in capturing your true beauty. At this place, This moment, the cool wind bits at my body, but I have ascended. I have finally found what I was looking for, this angelic beauty, and my soul is hers forever more.

-         -how did I get this lucky?

-IT occurs to me I’m sitting here writing about your face mashed into a pillow. Oh well, you are beautiful still, and what can I say, I’m sappy J
